Dear Fellow Overcomers,
Everyone has worked
extremely hard and asked for God's guidance for the future of
Hidden Springs Christian School to continue the Fall of 2009.
It is evident that with the inability to raise the necessary funds
(no doubt the result of a miserable economy) and with dwindling
enrollment, we believe it is time to close our school doors and
redirect our efforts.
Over the last several
months, we have attempted to restructure the school operation,
tuition plans, reduce expenses and other elements that would allow
us to open the Fall of 2009 to no avail. Other
considerations include the amount that the Church has given to the
school over the past few years and the make-up of the student
population being substantially non-members of Hidden Springs
Church.
Hidden Springs Church
continues to dedicate itself and support the precepts of providing
a quality Christian foundation to young people as one of its many
missions. This includes enhancing and expanding our youth
ministry.
What God did yesterday
is not exactly what He'll do today or tomorrow. God wants to
give us fresh, living bread through our words and our lives.
For that to happen we must open our hearts to the God of infinite
possibility and tune our ears to His voice.
The Hidden Springs
Church Board of Directors voted on August 8, 2009 to close Hidden
Springs Christian School. As a church family, we will
prayerfully wait for God's future plan and guidance for our
school. As for all the teachers who taught here and all the
students who attended Hidden Springs Christian School, they will
always be in our hearts and in our prayers. It is with deep
gratitude and love that we pray for God's Blessings upon all that
they do.
In Love and Prayers,
Pastors Bill and Jean
